A vulnerability was found in Wireshark (Packet Analyzer Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown functionality of the file epan/dissectors/packet-isakmp.c of the component ISAKMP Dissector. The manipulation as part of a Packet leads to a null pointer dereference vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-476. In Wireshark 2.6.0 to 2.6.5 and 2.4.0 to 2.4.11, the ISAKMP dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-isakmp.c by properly handling the case of a missing decryption data block.
