The issue has been introduced in 01/14/2014. The weakness was released 04/15/2014 as Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - April 2014 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at oracle.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-2422 since 03/13/2014. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
