A vulnerability has been found in Apple watchOS up to 5.1.2 (Smartwatch Operating System) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the component FaceTime. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. The bug was discovered 01/22/2019. The weakness was presented 01/22/2019 by Natalie Silvanovich with Google Project Zero as HT209448 as confirmed advisory (Website).
