A vulnerability was found in CoreFTP FTP and SFTP Server 2.0 Build 674 (SSH Server Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the component MDTM Command Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality.
