A vulnerability was found in Apple iOS up to 12.1.4 (Smartphone Operating System). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the component CoreCrypto. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a buffer overflow vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-120. The product copies an input buffer to an output buffer without verifying that the size of the input buffer is less than the size of the output buffer, leading to a buffer overflow.
