The issue has been introduced in 04/12/2011. The weakness was published 06/10/2014 by James Forshaw with Context Information Security as MS14-035 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). It is possible to read the advisory at technet.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-1777 since 01/29/2014. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
