The bug was discovered 05/13/2019. The weakness was presented 05/28/2019 by Sang Kil Cha with KAIST Softsec Lab as HT210125 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2019-8594 since 02/18/2019. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. Multiple memory corruption issues were addressed with improved memory handling.
