A vulnerability was found in BSD 4.2/4.3 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file passwd.c of the component passwd Shell Handler. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer.
