A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Mozilla Firefox up to 1.0.2 (Web Browser). This affects an unknown part of the component Search Plugin. The Plugin Finder Service (PFS) in Firefox before 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a javascript: URL in the PLUGINSPAGE attribute of an EMBED tag.
The weakness was shared 04/18/2005 by Michael Krax as MFSA2005-38 as not defined advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2005-0752 since 03/17/2005. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
