A vulnerability was found in Osicom Routermate (Router Operating System) (version now known) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the component SNMP. The manipulation of the argument Community Name with the input value ROUTERmate leads to a improper authentication vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-287. ROUTERmate has a default SNMP community name which allows remote attackers to modify its configuration.
