IceWarp Webclient before 10.2.1 has XSS via an HTTP POST request: webmail/basic/ with the parameter _dlg[captcha][uid] is non-persistent in 10.1.3 and 10.2.0.
The weakness was disclosed 12/06/2010 by Ron Ott, Michael Schneider and Thomas Wittmann as confirmed blog post (Website). The advisory is shared at gosecurity.ch. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with Icewarp. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2010-5339 since 10/11/2019. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
