The bug was discovered 11/18/2010. The weakness was presented 12/06/2010 by Ron Ott, Michael Schneider and Thomas Wittmann as Advisory 2010120602 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at gosecurity.ch. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with Icewarp. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2010-5336 since 10/11/2019. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
