IceWarp Webclient before 10.2.1 has XSS via an HTTP POST request: admin/login.html with the parameter username is persistent in 10.2.0.
The bug was discovered 11/18/2010. The weakness was presented 12/06/2010 by Ron Ott, Michael Schneider and Thomas Wittmann as Advisory 2010120602 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at gosecurity.ch. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with Icewarp. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2010-5336 since 10/11/2019. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
