A vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL up to 8.0.2 (Database Software). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function tsearch2. The bug was discovered 05/03/2005. The weakness was presented 05/02/2005 by David and Tom Lane with PostgreSQL Team (Website). The advisory is available at postgresql.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-1410 since 05/03/2005. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1499 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
