A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Ipswitch WS FTP Server and IMail 1.0.1/1.0.2 (Mail Server Software). This issue affects an unknown function of the component Registry Key Handler. The manipulation of the argument flags with the input value 1920 leads to a privileges management vulnerability. IPswitch WS_FTP allows local users to gain additional privileges and modify or add mail accounts by setting the "flags" registry key to 1920.
