A vulnerability was found in Siemens SCALANCE S602, SCALANCE S612, SCALANCE S623 and SCALANCE S627-2M 3.0. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the component Web Server. The manipulation as part of a Crafted Packet leads to a resource consumption vulnerability. A vulnerability has been identified in SCALANCE S602 (All versions >= V3.0), SCALANCE S612 (All versions >= V3.0), SCALANCE S623 (All versions >= V3.0), SCALANCE S627-2M (All versions >= V3.0). Specially crafted packets sent to port 443/tcp of affected devices could cause a Denial-of-Service condition of the web server. A cold reboot is required to restore the functionality of the device.
The weakness was shared 02/11/2020. This vulnerability was named CVE-2019-13926 since 07/18/2019. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
