A vulnerability was found in OReilly Website Pro 2.3.7. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the file uploader.exe. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. O Reilly WebSite Pro 2.3.7 installs the uploader.exe program with execute permissions for all users, which allows remote attackers to create and execute arbitrary files by directly calling uploader.exe.
