Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Novell Groupwise WebAccess 6.5 before July 11, 2005 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via an e-mail message with an encoded javascript URI (e.g. "jAvascript" in an IMG tag.
The bug was discovered 06/14/2005. The weakness was shared 07/19/2005 by Francisco Amato with Infobyte Security Research (Website). The advisory is shared at support.novell.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2005-2276 since 07/15/2005. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
