A vulnerability was found in Endymion Mailman Webmail up to 3.0.25 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown part of the file mmstdod.cgi. The manipulation of the argument alternate_template with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. MailMan Webmail 3.0.25 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the alternate_template parameter.
