A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in MySQL Eventum up to 1.6.0 (Database Software). Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the file get_jsrs_data.php. The manipulation of the argument F with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was published 08/01/2005 with MySQL Team (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at gulftech.org. The attack can be launched remotely. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059.007 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
By approaching the search of inurl:get_jsrs_data.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
Upgrading eliminates this vulnerability. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at dev.mysql.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
