A vulnerability was found in Novell NetMail 3.0.3a/3.1/3.5.2/3.10. It has been classified as critical. This affects the function continuation of the component IMAP Daemon. The bug was discovered 04/25/2005. The weakness was published 09/01/2005 by Pedram Amini with OpenRCE (Website). The advisory is shared at idefense.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2005-1758 since 05/28/2005. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
