The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-269. PHProjekt before 2.4a allows remote attackers to perform actions as other PHProjekt users by modifying the ID number in an HTTP request to PHProjekt CGI programs.
The bug was discovered 08/26/2001. The weakness was presented 08/31/2001 by Martin with PHP (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at xforce.iss.net.
