Lotus Domino web server 5.08 allows remote attackers to determine the internal IP address of the server when NAT is enabled via a GET request that contains a long sequence of / (slash) characters.
The weakness was presented 09/20/2001 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability was named CVE-2001-1018. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
