show_bug.cgi in Bugzilla before 2.14.1 allows a user with "Bugs Access" privileges to see other products that are not accessible to the user, by submitting a bug and reading the resulting Product pulldown menu.
The bug was discovered 01/05/2002. The weakness was released 01/31/2002 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-0009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
