A vulnerability was found in Sambar Server 6.2/6.3 (File Transfer Software). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file proxy.asp. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in proxy.asp in Sambar Server 6.3 BETA 2 and possibly earlier versions allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) Remote Proxy Server or (2) Proxy Filter IPs field.
The bug was discovered 11/02/2005. The weakness was disclosed 11/02/2005 by h4xorCrew (Website). The advisory is available at secunia.com.
