The weakness was shared 08/12/2002 by David Miller as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-0803. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
