The Administration console for Abyss Web Server 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to read files without providing login credentials via an HTTP request to a target file that ends in a "+" character.
The bug was discovered 06/01/2002. The weakness was presented 09/22/2002 by Auriemma Luigi as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2002-1081. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
