csNewsPro.cgi in CGIScript.net csNews Professional (csNewsPro) allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Perl code via the setup parameter, which is processed by the Perl eval function.
The weakness was released 12/31/2002 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at cert.uni-stuttgart.de. This vulnerability was named CVE-2002-1753 since 06/21/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
