A vulnerability was found in PHP Arena paFileDB 1.1.3/2.1.1 (Programming Language Software). It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Search Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in PHP Arena paFileDB 1.1.3 and 2.1.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via Javascript in the search string.
The weakness was presented 12/31/2002 (Website). The advisory is shared at digitalparadox.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2002-1931 since 06/29/2005. The attack can be launched remotely.
