A vulnerability was found in BEA WebLogic Portal up to 8.1 SP5 (Application Server Software) and classified as problematic. Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in BEA WebLogic Server and WebLogic Express 8.1 through SP4, 7.0 through SP6, and 6.1 through SP7 allow remote attackers to access MBean attributes or cause an unspecified denial of service via unknown attack vectors.
The weakness was presented 01/24/2006 by vlet with BEA Systems (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at dev2dev.bea.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-0422 since 01/25/2006. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1555 according to MITRE ATT&CK.

Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at ftpna.beasys.com.
