A vulnerability was found in PHPGEDVIEW 2.61 (Content Management System). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown part of the file functions.php. PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in (1) functions.php, (2) authentication_index.php, and (3) config_gedcom.php for PHPGEDVIEW 2.61 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by modifying the PGV_BASE_DIRECTORY parameter to reference a URL on a remote web server that contains the code.
The bug was discovered 01/06/2004. The weakness was published 01/06/2004 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-0030.
