A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Francisco Burzi PHP-Nuke 8.0 Final (Content Management System). Affected is an unknown code block of the component Search Module. The manipulation of the argument min/categ with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in the Search module in Php-Nuke allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL via the (1) min or (2) categ parameters.
The bug was discovered 07/18/2004. The weakness was presented 07/27/2004 by Janek Vind with waraxe (Website). The advisory is available at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2004-0738 since 07/22/2004. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
