A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in phpWebSite 0.7.3/0.8.2/0.8.3/0.9.3/0.9.3.4 (Content Management System). This issue affects an unknown code of the component Calendar Module. The manipulation of the argument cal_template with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. SQL injection vulnerability in the calendar module in phpWebsite 0.9.3-4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via cal_template.
The weakness was disclosed 09/01/2004 with Gulftech (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2004-1654 since 02/21/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
