A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Member Management System 2.1. Affected is an unknown function of the file error.asp of the component Management System. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Member Management System 2.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the err parameter to error.asp or (2) register.asp.
The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2004 by Manuel Lopez (Website). The advisory is shared for download at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2004-1844 since 05/04/2005. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
