A vulnerability was found in eSeSIX Thintune Extreme up to 2.4.38. It has been classified as problematic. eSeSIX Thintune thin clients running firmware 2.4.38 and earlier store sensitive usernames and passwords in cleartext in configuration files for the keeper library, which allows attackers to gain access.
The bug was discovered 05/29/2004. The weakness was released 07/24/2004 by Dirk Loss (Website). The advisory is shared at marc.theaimsgroup.com.
