A vulnerability was found in Xlinesoft ASPRunner up to 2.4 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown function. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. ASPRunner 2.4 stores the database under the web root in the db directory, which may allow remote attackers to obtain the database via a direct request to the database filename, which is predictable based on table and field names.
