The bug was discovered 12/06/2004. The weakness was disclosed 12/13/2004 by gp (Website). The advisory is shared for download at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2004-2509 since 10/25/2005. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
