A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Liveworld Liveforum (Forum Software) (affected version not known). This affects some unknown functionality of the file search.jsp. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in LiveWorld products, possibly including (1) LiveForum, (2) LiveQ&A, (3) LiveChat, and (4) LiveFocusGroup, allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the q parameter in (a) search.jsp, (b) findclub!execute.jspa, and (c) search!execute.jspa.
