A vulnerability was found in nfs-utils up to 1.0.6. It has been rated as very critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file rquota_server.c of the component nfs-utils. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a stack-based overflow vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-121. rquotad in nfs-utils (rquota_server.c) before 1.0.6-r6 on 64-bit architectures does not properly perform an integer conversion, which leads to a stack-based buffer overflow and allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted NFS request.
