A vulnerability was found in rssh 2.0/2.1/2.2/2.2.1/2.2.2. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the component Access Restriction. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. rssh 2.2.2 and earlier does not properly restrict programs that can be run, which could allow remote authenticated users to bypass intended access restrictions and execute arbitrary programs via (1) rdist -P, (2) rsync, or (3) scp -S.
