A vulnerability was found in SugarCRM Sugar Sales up to 2.0.1. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown part of the file index.php. SQL injection vulnerability in SugarCRM Sugar Sales before 2.0.1a allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands and gain privileges via the record parameter in a DetailView action to index.php, and record parameters in other functionality.
The weakness was presented 01/10/2005 by James Bercegay with Gulftech (Website). The advisory is shared for download at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-1225 since 12/14/2004. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
