Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in MyPHP Forum up to 1.0 (Forum Software). This affects an unknown functionality of the file forum.php. The manipulation of the argument email with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in MyPHP Forum 1.0 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via (1) the fid in forum.php, (2) the member parameter in member.php, (3) the email parameter in forgot.php, or (4) the nbuser or nbpass parameters in include.php. NOTE: it was later reported that vector 2 exists in 3.0 and earlier.
