sessions.php in phpBB 2.0.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain administrator privileges via the autologinid value in a cookie.
The bug was discovered 01/01/2001. The weakness was shared 02/27/2005 by Paisterist with waraxe (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at phpbb.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-0614 since 03/02/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
