Unspecified vulnerability in Sun Solaris 8 and 9 before 20060821 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands via unspecified vectors, involving the default Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) settings in the "File System Management" profile.
The bug was discovered 08/21/2006. The weakness was released 08/23/2006 with Sun Microsystems Inc. (Website). The advisory is shared at sunsolve.sun.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2006-4306 since 08/23/2006. An attack has to be approached locally. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
