A vulnerability has been found in RadScripts RadBids 2 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown processing of the file faq.php. The manipulation of the argument farea with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in RadScripts RadBids Gold 2 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the farea parameter to faq.php or the (2) cat, (3) order, or (4) area parameters to index.php.
