Affected is some unknown functionality of the component Configuration File Import. The manipulation of the argument device.auth.localAdminPassword with an unknown input leads to a unverified password change vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-620. When setting a new password for a user, the product does not require knowledge of the original password, or using another form of authentication. This is going to have an impact on integrity.

By importing a configuration file specifying a new administrator password, an attacker can bypass the requirement to enter the currently set password. This can be used to gain persistence when a session has been taken over.
