A vulnerability was found in PHP-Calendar up to 0.10 (Calendar Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the file search.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in search.php for PHP-Calendar before 0.10.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via unknown vectors.
The weakness was published 04/26/2005 (Website). The advisory is shared at sourceforge.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-1397 since 05/02/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Upgrading to version 0.10.3 eliminates this vulnerability.
