A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in MaxWebPortal up to 2.0. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the file inc_functions.asp. The manipulation of the argument Delete with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in MaxWebPortal 1.3.5 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) fpassword parameter to inc_functions.asp, (2) txtAddress, (3) message, or (4) subject parameter to post_info.asp, (5) andor parameter to search.asp, (6) verkey parameter to pop_profile.asp, or (7) Remove or (8) Delete parameter to pm_delete2.asp.

This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2005-1562 since 05/14/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
