Mozilla Firefox before 1.5.0.7 and SeaMonkey before 1.0.5 allows remote attackers to bypass the security model and inject content into the sub-frame of another site via targetWindow.frames[n].document.open(), which facilitates spoofing and other attacks.

The weakness was disclosed 09/15/2006 by Georgi Guninski (shutdown) with Martijn Wargers as MFSA2006-61 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2006-4568 since 09/06/2006. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
