A vulnerability was found in DUware DUclassmate 1.2. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown part of the file default.asp. The manipulation of the argument iPro with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in DUware DUclassmate 1.2 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) iState parameter to default.asp or (2) iPro parameter to edit.asp.
The bug was discovered 06/20/2005. The weakness was published 06/22/2005 by Dedi Dwianto (the_day) as not defined posting (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-2049 since 06/22/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
