A vulnerability has been found in MyBB 1.0 Pr2/Rc4 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown code block of the file usercp.php. The manipulation of the argument awayday with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in usercp.php in MyBulletinBoard (MyBB) allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the awayday parameter.
The weakness was shared 10/26/2005 by Animal with Core as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2005-3326 since 10/27/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
